What we do
At Outside Design, we design + build better ways for people to experience nature. We're a small team that's very focused on creating novel + unique experiences in nature. We aim to maximize the idea of being outside by building BIG windows into small spaces and carving buildings into the surroundings. Designing around nature, not through it.
Who we Are
We're a small, but motivated team of builders and designers. If you're extremely motivated, operate 2x faster than most fast people, and want to design and build a better way for people to experience nature please send us a note. We think traveling and spending time in nature are two of the best things in life…so we started working on them.
Why we care
Well…why is it so hard to go to an awesome natural destination + stay in a well-designed place for humans? We don’t know. Why do most hotels raze + flatten the entire forest before building? We still don’t know. We do know how to design + build. So we set out devote our lives to make both of them better through our mission: to connect people + nature through design.
